A Few Updates…

Happy February!   Here are a few things to keep in mind the next few weeks:

*  We will have library tomorrow, Tuesday Feb. 5.

* Please send in completed valentine boxes by Thursday.

*  Market Day is just around the corner and the children are SO EXCITED!   They are accumulating tickets to spend by working together as a team, using their time wisely and treating others kindly.   We will be opening up the doors between all of the second grade classrooms on Thursday for Market Day.  The children will be able to sell their products and buy from other businesses.  When Market Day is complete, the children will tally their profits and share it equally with their business partners.  They will then have the opportunity to spend their earnings on treats to munch on during a short movie.   Can’t wait to share pictures with all of you!

* WINTER BREAK  Feb. 8 – 11

*  Feel free to send in classroom valentines anytime in the next week.   Our Valentine Party will be on Thursday February 14 from 12:45-1:45.  THANK YOU THANK YOU  to all of you who have already signed up to help with supplies and/or in the classroom.  There are a few more spots to fill, if you are able to help please visit :  http://vols.pt/NkVSjs

Looking forward to a GREAT WEEK!

Hi Families,

Just a few things to let you know about this week…

* Valentine’s Party will be on February 14 from 2:00- 2:40ish.

* We will be exchanging valentine’s in the classroom.  If you would like your child to participate, please click here for a list of our friends… Class List for Valentines

*  I am working on uploading the How To videos for you to check out on our You Tube channel.   I will send out the link towards the end of the week.

Thanks so much for all of your help with the research for our All About Books!  The kiddos are working so hard on them and really concentrating on teaching their readers new things.

Have a great week!
