Before spring break, our second graders became experts on an informational text topic (fish, birds, butterflies, space, tigers, Abraham Lincoln and gymnastics).  After looking through the facts that they learned, they selected a way to present/teach their topic to the class, either through a poster, filmstrip or cereal box (tidbits of facts).   Everyone did an amazing job and learned so many new facts!!!
