Hello Families,

This time of year is always so beautiful both in the classroom and outside. The children have settled in nicely and are becoming such hard workers!
Here are a few things to be aware of:
* Background checks have all come back…. YEAH!!!! I will be contacting those of you that signed up to help in the classroom regarding days, times, etc. In the meantime, I am looking for 4 parents to come into the classroom on Friday October 15 to help with math centers. Please let me know if you are able and willing 🙂
* Next week, all of the second grade classrooms will be assessing students in the area of math as we think about their needs as a math student. You will receive a note home at the end of next week pertaining to how your child performed and where we can meet their needs the best in terms of math instruction ( skills practice, on-target, advanced).
