Today we wrapped up our first unit of writing with a writer’s celebration.  Each child chose a piece that they wanted to fix up and fancy ( revision and editing) in preparation to share their work with the class.  Our second graders were THRILLED to read their stories and also receive feedback from their friends.  We ended our celebration with a “toast”.  Many children even wanted to make their own “toasts” to children in the classroom……  such kind hearts they have!    I am so proud of each of my little writers!
