Our second graders are learning that matter is everywhere and that it can be in three different states:  solid, liquid or gas.   This week we will be investigating properties of matter through many experiments and group activities.  We will be describing matter using our 5 senses, the mass of an object and whether or not it is a mixture of a solution.   This is a very fun unit and our scientists will LOVE the hands on experiments!  Look for pictures of our adventures in the next few weeks :).
